Italy Day Sei

Today we chilled and it was wonderful. We were both so tired from sightseeing that it was so nice to relax for a day.

After breakfast, we did laundry, then took a morning nap and headed out around 1. We ate lunch in Greve, then went to a local winery to taste. Casaloste was near our agritourismo...we could even see the house from the tasting room..

The owners were very smart on marketing their wine, plus it tasted great! They made three types of Chianti, a merlot, olive oil and grappa, which I have decided is the tequila of Italy.

Then we went back to Greve, ate gellato, bought more wine, and went back to the agritourismo for another nap. It was great!

We returned to Gallo Nero for more wonderful food. I had the ravioli (again) and Scotty had a steak with fried veggies. Both were very good. For dessert we had panna cotta. I thought my panna cotta was good, but this stuff made me look like a amateur cook.

Our time at the agritourismo had ended and we had to pack to leave for Sorrento in the morning.
